Boris Johnson hopes UK and EU can find compromise on Brexit – Forex
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson still hopes he can agree with the EU to amend the existing Brexit deal. At the same time, he again stressed that the country will leave the EU on October 31. There can be no "but" and "ifs." Last Friday it was reported that London has finally sent to Brussels its proposals to adjust the terms of the Brexit deal. However, the following day Sky News reported that the document presented did not contain any alternative solutions for the insurance plan. Namely, it was the reason for the rejection of the agreement by the British Parliament. Earlier, the head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said that Brussels is ready to exclude from the deal "backstop". But that requires the UK to provide another solution to the issue that concerns Ireland. It must meet the requirements set out in the insurance plan.
