UK proposals to renegotiate Brexit deal terms are tentative
The head of the Uk Ministry of Justice Robert Buckland answered questions about the information about the transfer to Brussels documents on changes to the insurance plan. He said that the documents were indeed sent to the European Commission. However, the information contained in them is preliminary. In addition, they do not cover all the issues along the Irish border. Earlier, the Daily Telegraph reported that this week British Prime Minister Boris Johnson should offer the EU his own version of the insurance plan. According to available information, it contains a proposal to establish a single economic zone on the island. This will ensure the free movement of goods. Customs rules are proposed for some goods. Both sides of the negotiation process will take part in their creation. There was also information about the possible creation of customs centers on the island. But they will not be on the very border between Northern Ireland and Ireland.
